Southport Historic Vehicle Show

Sunday 23rd July

Temperatures soar and Glynn takes some wonderful pictures of Area 18 attendees and captures the moment with full exposure of knees, classical shorts, high quality dental treatment and those who thought they would not be seen and had a crafty moment! All is revealed!

Jaguars huddle together in the shade of the trees! Lady Tigers have parasols!

• Elaine with a European tan, hat and whip cast aside, and one Green Bottle!
• Jennifer with a North Wales tan, a big smile and very blonde hair!
• Marilyn for the first time seen with a hat, a lovely smile and showing signs of browning; can we see a pair of shorts and some sun cream too!?
• Alan in reflective mood with hands in pockets under a big hat!
• Peter, who said he would never wear a T shirt in the sun because it would burn his neck, wears one, and has no hat to boot!
• Glynn peers anxiously forward from under an extra large peak of a Nike cap so as not to be missed
  from the picture!
• John said he'd been to France but when you compare his tan with Elaine's he must have only gone out at night!
• What I'd like to know is who took the photograph?
  

 

With all this expensive dental work on show someone must have found a good dentist, even the dog has a nice smile!

A very smart bonnet in a shade of coral pink! Whilst John and Glynn model the latest style in shorts ........ that reminds me where is John Knowles?

Peace at last! Peter catches up on all the latest world news!

As the sun sinks in the West we say 'Goodbye Southport we've had a wonderful time!'
